Tales
all the Kuo generations
July 2017
How would it go to bring together 3 generations of Kuo’s, whose eldest generation of sisters are infamously known for conflict over principles? Over 40 of us from Canada, Singapore, all over the United States reunioned in San Diego - a bold and crazy endeavor headed up by Uncle Joe, Uncle Lawrence, and Mom. How would the cousins get along? How would the grandparents survive? How did it go? In short, it was awesome – fun, good food, laughter, great conversation, adventure, and love all around. Our highlights were:
Four-bying through the entire resort on the 8-person bicycle.
Splashing with Orca around the pool.
Blackjack, UNO, and cards with all generations.
Singing happy birthday to Ye Ye for his 80th.
Inaugurating the Canadians with In-n-Out.
Enjoying the fireworks from our own private showroom
Almost burning down our room with the camp stove.
Roadtripping up CA with overnight stops with Serena/Kaden, Noah/Benji, Sheldon/Layna, and Jack/Bernie/Joe/Julie was the most awesome finish to an amazing 10 days of summer. This trip gave the all-time favorite Berkeley Family Camp a run for it’s money. A summer with the best trips EVER.
