can life get more ridiculous?

march 2 - march 8, 2015

our wonderful po po took up the sport of ping pong 2 months ago at the young age of 75. she was crushing all the other rossmoor residents (because as she put it, they don't move.) her teacher said, "you can play against the machine and we'll put it on the advanced setting." the balls spit out faster and from corner to corner consistently. going for a corner shot ball, po po dove, fell, crushed a stool and broke her hip. in that one week period, po po had 3 screws driven into her hip, dad popped our car tire by driving into a curb, terren learned how to change a spare tire, and dad separated a shoulder by launching himself off his bike while taking off his gloves. with a separated shoulder, dad finished his bike to work, worked his 9-hour shift, got himself x-rayed during his break, ultrasounded himself and biked himself home. on top of this, terren has now broke her own record by taking 12 classes per week: art, piano, spanish x2, kajukenbo x2, gymnastics, swimming, ballet, softball, choir, and golf. and tank takes 2 gymnastics classes, and music class. mom desperately wants to pare down, and the only class terren wants to give up is spanish. life is ridiculous right now.
